The ELPH Co-Principal Investigators honoured at the Public Health Association of BC (PHABC) conference on December 12, 2016

The ELPH co-PIs dominated the award’s podium at the Public Health Association of BC (PHABC) conference on December 12, 2016. Congratulations to all them for these well-deserved awards! Marjorie MacDonald received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her dedication and contributions to advance public health nursing to improve health equity and her leadership to support PHABC. Bernie Pauly received the Sharon Martin Community Development Award for her significant contribution to community development, mentorship and promotion of public health programs in the community. Lastly, Trevor Hancock received the 30th Anniversary of the Ottawa Charter Award for his outstanding leadership in Public Health over his lifetime; for setting the foundation and inspiring the future of Health Promotion in Canada and globally.
