Part of the two part series about "Living Without Oil," organized by UVic's Retirees Association. Each of the series’ eight presentations is given by experts in their fields who will show us what the continued development of new technologies has to offer society and the climate.
IESVic faculty will give presentations on March 21 and 28. 

Living Without Oil - Part 2

In Part Two we learn of BC Hydro’s plans to meet the future electrical demand in BC, discuss the global push to consider small modular nuclear reactors, and look at the challenge associated with the development of commercial electrical storage. The series concludes with a summary and discussion by a moderated panel of experts from UVic’s Institute for Integrated Energy Systems.
