CISUR introduces cannabis legalization guides

The Canadian Institute for Substance Use Research (CISUR) has released several new guides designed to help diverse segments of the community navigate various aspects of recreational cannabis legalization.

These guides, based on CISUR’s dialogue-based approach, are aimed at retailers, schools, communities and workplaces. They are designed to foster dialogue, build positive relationships, and ask important questions not just about legalization, but also more broadly about how we want our communities to thrive and function.

“Legalization and regulation create a framework, but it takes community members understanding and caring for each other to nurture healthy and safe communities," says CISUR Assistant director of Knowledge Exchange Dan Reist.
