Yasmine is presently working toward a BA with Honours in Political Science. She is particularly interested in, and is writing her Honours thesis on, migrant and refugee rights, along with the effects that displacement may have on individuals and communities. Yasmine is excited to have the opportunity to work as a Program Assistant with the Malaysian Social Research Institute in Kuala Lumpur.
