Researchers investigate new approaches to slow loss of brain power

Neurologist Craig Brown of the University of Victoria's Division of Medical Sciences and the graduate students in his lab have investigated losses in brain power associated with the weakening of mental abilities found in aging. Although there is more work to be done in understanding how to slow down the loss of blood vessels, Brown and students suggest that "there may be truth in the old adage “healthy body, healthy mind.”"
