Staff Pension Plan: Notice of Pension Increase & Confirmation of Information

Pension Services will provide written notice of indexing to all eligible pensioners by the end of 2018 (please note, some letters may experience delays due to the Canada Post backlogs). Your Staff Plan pension is indexed for inflation annually. Please visit the Staff Pension Plan’s web pages for more information on indexing. 

Here are a few things you should know:

  • The notices are accompanied by a Confirmation of Information form, which must be returned to Pension Services within the stated timelines in order to confirm continued eligibility
  • All increases are effective January 1 2019, and the amount shown on the notices do not reflect applicable withholding tax
  • Pension Services will be closed for the holidays, and our team will be available to answer any questions upon our return on January 2nd, 2019.
