IDEAFEST: Drs. D'Arcy and Bird showcase their work in Humanities in a Lab Coat
Why have a lab in the humanities? What really goes on in these labs? From making video games to imaging the tongue, humanities research is more hands on than you may think. Join us for this panel discussion with student and faculty researchers about the exciting collaborative projects that take shape in these research labs: the Humanities Computing and Media Centre (HCMC), the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab (ETCL), the Maker Lab, the Digital Language Learning Lab (DLLLab), the Speech Research Lab (SRL), and the Sociolinguistics Research Lab (SLRL). You might be surprised at what you discover!
