UVic Linguistics welcomes Dr. Alec Marantz as a Lansdowne Lecturer March 26-28

Alec Marantz is Professor of Linguistics and Psychology at New York University (NYU), Director of the KIT/MIT/NYU MEG Laboratory (NYU New York) and Neuroscience of Language Laboratory (NYU Abu Dhabi), and Adjunct Professor at the Kanazawa Institute of Technology. He is one of the world’s leading scholars in linguistics, producing significant research in three distinct areas—morphology, syntax, and neurolinguistics.
