David Moffette wins the Governor General's Gold Medal!

We somehow missed some exciting news this summer… David Moffette, one of our EU-Borders Visiting Research Fellows at CFGS this past summer, received the Governor General's Gold Medal, which is awarded to graduate students with the highest academic standings!

While at CFGS, David presented his work on border jurisdictions with a Global Talk, Spatial, Temporal and Jurisdictional Borderwork: Vignettes from Canada and Europe. David is currently finishing a Post-Doc at Carleton University and will begin as an Assistant Professor at University of Ottawa in January 2016. See June announcement in York University News.
