GRS 395: UVic Semester in Greece, Spring 2019
January 7 to March 25, 2019
- Estimated cost $6300, including shared hostel/hotel room for 3 months, transportation (within Greece), hotels w/ breakfast outside Athens. Full payment due December 1, 2018.
- Additional costs: Overseas airfare and UVic tuition (7.5 units, transferable for non-UVic students)
- UVic courses offered (subject to change):
- GRS 395 Classical Studies Abroad (3.0 units)
- GRS 377 Ships and Seamanship in the Ancient World (1.5 units)
- GRS 462 Archaeology of Athens (1.5 units)
- GRS 482A Seminar in Greek Archaeology (1.5 units).
- We will study on-site: Athens, Mycenae, Delphi, Crete, Thessaloniki, among other places.
- No Pre-requisites. GRS/Classics Major or minor recommended
