Reem Girgrah, a MSW student, helping sexual assault victims in Yukon

We are proud to highlight this great article about the important work of Reem Girgrah, one of our awesome MSW students. Yukon News shared Reem is a longtime advocate for women and people who have experienced sexual violence. She was hired as a victim support coordinator for the Yukon government’s evolving sexualized assault response team (SART) last year. Her goal is to create a sustainable structure that has adequate supports for victims of sexual assault, and that gives victims control over what they think is best for them.
