2020 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS ANNOUNCED

LGMA provides ongoing support for professional development to our members and individuals aspiring to careers in local government and the public service. The LGMA announced the following individuals who are current or former UVic students who have been selected as the educational scholarship recipients for the year 2020.

Distinguished Members Legacy Fund Scholarship
Rachel Dumas, Township of Esquimalt (University of Victoria, DLGM student)

The Ken Dobell Public Service Fund Scholarship
Ashley Hawker, Village of Cumberland (University of Victoria, Minor in Public Administration)
Janelle Taylor, Student (Thompson Rivers University), UVic DPSM Graduate
