Is Unitary Caring Science the Mature Foundation for the Discipline of Nursing? A conversation with Dr. Jean Watson

It has been noted that it 'takes about a hundred years for a profession or field of study to mature in its own right as a distinct discipline. Nursing is in the midst of a major crisis to mature as a distinct discipline of caring/healing/health for all or succumb to being very good professional technicians, within a totally transformed unitary worldview.

Unitary Caring Science (UCS) has been posited as the most mature focus for the discipline to date; acknowledging we reside in a unitary field of Human-Planet Oneness for survival. Nursing cannot fully mature with an outdated paradigm of Western science and Western mindsets. How does UCS address Nursings' moral, ethical, philosophical and theoretical, global sacred covenant with humanity for caring/healing/health for all?
