Shannon Malovec recognized by Digital Health Canada as one of the top ten Women Leaders in Digital Health

The School of Health Information Science celebrates our alumna Shannon Malovec on being named one of top ten Women Leaders in Digital Health Canada 2018. Shannon started pursuing her career in Health Informatics with a BSc (2004) and an MSc (2013) from our School.

This Digital Health Award recognizes female visionaries who are harnessing the Power of IT to transform Canadian health and healthcare. The award is unique among power lists and award programs in that it recognizes women at any stage of their career progressions and is inclusive of all women of influence no matter where they might be in the health IT field.

We are very proud to celebrate Shannon Malovec’s success as a leader in the Health Technology world. She is very deserving of this award and is an inspiration to many.
