Renewed MOU means Interfaith chapel remains a special place on campus
A renewed agreement between thirteen faith communities ensures the Interfaith chapel remains a special place on campus. The chapel was officially opened June 26, 1985, by Ian H. Stewart, Chairman, Board of Governors, and UVic President Howard E. Petch. With thanks to the Chapel Endowment Fund and supporting contributions from the university, a $750,000 renewal project was completed in spring 2016 resulting in the beautiful facility campus community members enjoy today.
