Donor funding leads researchers to oldest human footprints

Twelve single footprints discovered by UVic archaeologists Drs. Duncan McLaren and Daryl Fedje could be the oldest human footprints in North America. The research collaboration between the University of Victoria and the Hakai Institute that led to this discovery on remote Calvert Island is one of several long-term studies funded by the Tula Foundation.
