Engineering Expansion - Construction Mobilization

Engineering Expansion Project Site

The Engineering Expansion Project is mobilizing for construction.  The upcoming week’s activities are as follows:

1. Parking Lot A closed; site fencing extended (Mon Jan 15)
2. Curb cut and hard surface adjustment to fire lane access - Ring Road, beside Bob Wright Centre (Mon Jan 15)
3. Install temporary sidewalk - Note: Ring Road outer lane closed (Tues/Wed Jan 16, 17)
4. Site tree removal (Tues/Wed Jan 16, 17) - Note: sidewalk closure in front of ELW; obey traffic flaggers.
5. Complete temporary crosswalk locations to new temporary sidewalk across Ring Road (Thurs/Fri Jan 18, 19)
6. Extend all remaining construction fencing: ECS fire lane closed, Ring Road inner lane in front of Engineering closed (Mon Jan 22) – for the duration of construction.
