Welcome to the Academic Skills Centre!
At the Academic Skills Centre (ASC), we offer online and in-person one-on-one tutorials, workshops, and more. As a priority, we actively coach students on academic integrity, including preventing accidental plagiarism. Our services are fully funded and available to all University of Victoria students at no cost.
We are here to support students with brainstorming, drafting and revising their writing projects and presentations. We also coach students in time management, understanding academic expectations and assignments, reading, speaking, exam prep and more!
We are easy to find!
Come down the main hall of the Mearns Centre for Learning – McPherson Library and turn right at the Learning Commons. We're at the end of the hall.
